At The Museum

On Thursday we went to the Museum. I had so much fun because we got to do lots and lots of cool activities. First my group did the weaving and I was very good at it as usual. Next we went to the matching the different Iwis with their things though I didn’t get up to many. After that my group went to the flax I had a little trouble at the start but when I got up to the beginning of my second one I got good at it and it was time to move on. Then we did the stories and Cindy told them. Next we did the drawing. I tried my best and I think I did pretty well. Georgie.

The Suter Art Gallery

On Tuesday we went to the Suter and there was a exhibition of portraits from the cradle to the grave. We had to choose a portrait that was front on to draw. Then we all drew a portrait of a man ( I can't remember his name) who was doing a self portrait of himself. Our last and final picture was profile and it was called the mother of the bride.That was the easiest.

Bread

I was so excited when I was drawn out of the box for baking. Nic and Toby where drawn out to. First we poured in the ingredients and mixed it all together. Then we took a lump each and kneaded it. Then shaped it. After that we put it in the microwave. Everyone was talking about the smell around the classroom it smelt so yum. When it came out of the microwave everyone wanted a piece of mine. It was so yum.
